To Facebook Friends, Family and Colleagues It is with a heavy heart I write this letter. Two reasons prompt the necessity: 1) My cancer squamous cell carcinoma has recurred. The same area (vocal cords plus lymph nodes on left side of neck) are affected. Three more rounds of chemotherapy plus three immunotherapy treatments (Optivo) did not slow down the growth of the tumors. For now, all treatment has stopped. Prayer has not. 22) I am asking people to consider making a monetary donation to help me. I am barely working 5 hours a week. I have been denied disability but I am still trying. I have rent, utilities, insurance and food to cover. As most of you know, Mike and I parted ways in February. Although we remain friends. I no longer have him to fall back on for help.
