Even big people need to be on the angel tree sometimes.
I, you, we have a dear friend that has a need. This is going to be an anonymous fund raiser. I would like for it to remain anonymous for the reason that if the goal is not met, I would not want the disappointment to be felt.
Our dear friend is in need of something that most of us tend to take for granted. Something that is a very necessary part of our lives in. I contacted Tim Sullivan to ask his thoughts. And if you know Tim, you know he is a gracious giver and has a heart as big as texas. His words encouraged me to go with my heart, and this is where it ended up. Right here, asking my friends to help me help this person.
The goal is $1500. But with the fees that go with a fund raiser like this one, I am setting it for $1800. If it exceeds $1800, that will go toward the gift and also and future expenses that go with it. I know together we can do this. I am friends with many beautiful people who know how much even the smallest bit of hope, is very well what made us where we are today.
To make a blind donation is a big request, I know. But if your heart is comfortable with what you have read, I would like to ask you to help us help this person. Upon receipt of this donation, a picture of the recipient and the gift will be updated via this link, and also posted on facebook on both my and Tim's page.
A gift is a way that you let someone know you care. A gift is a sign of hope, a reason to hold your head up. Sometimes, a gift is all it takes for that one person to stay focused and remain on the path of healthy, positive, and inspirational living.
