Help Youssef Beat Brain Cancer

My husband Youssef was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour in October 2015, only 3 days before our wedding. He underwent 5 brain surgeries, 12 months of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation therapy since then. He also suffers from epilepsy and blood clots. During his last brain surgery on 15 November 2017, he unfortunately suffered a stroke after an artery was cut whilst trying to resect the residual tumour, which was causing him 14 seizures a day. He is now paralysed on the left half of his body and is wheelchair bound. He thought he was in the all clear in terms of the tumour however, we were wrong. 8 weeks later he had an MRI to check the status of his tumour and stroke recovery. The tumour had come back aggressively and now occupied the whole right side of his brain and as well as now entering the brain stem. It was going at full speed. Unfortunately, the tumour is inoperable now and he is not a candidate for radiation therapy. Chemotherapy will do little or nothing to prolong his life. He has commenced holistic and alternative therapies in an attempt to fight this disease, which include natural immunotherapy, i.e. oils, Chinese Medicine, intravenous vitamins, ozone therapy etc.He had a follow up MRI and it appears to be stable which is promising. We need to do a lot more and we have run out of funds. My husband is only 37 years old and requires extensive care and treatment. We have already spent over $20,000 in a period of 7 weeks, and this did not cover the full extent of the treatment. We will need to raise at least another $35,000 to continue and improve his treatment which should last until his next MRI in late June inshallah. Our only hope is to keep trying to win this battle and with your help we will hopefully get there by the will of God. He is the type that wouldn’t ask for help but will help others without expecting anything in return.
