Lamar needs help Liver Shunt Treatment and Surgery!

Lamar was adopted from Animal Life Savers as a small puppy. He was one from a litter called the "Reindeer" puppies (see below). He was adopted to a family who started seeing signs of illness and brought him to a veterinarian who repeatedly misdiagnosed him. They finally called us and we sent him to a veterinarian of our choosing who diagnosed him with having a Liver Shunt. Realizing he might need surgery if he didn't improve from the diet, the family decided to try the special diet. He seemed to improve but not to an optimal level. The family realized that he was not a dog they could handle any longer since they were working long hours and didn't have enough time or money for Lamar and they decided to give him up. After many attempts to find him a home in which Lamar could receive the adequate care for his condition, they told us the "shelter" was the next stop for Lamar. At this point, we took him into our, already overloaded, organization and into a foster home, and now need assistance with funds for Lamar's surgery and Holistic Treatments. We hope to eventually get him stable and into a permanent home! His surgery will cost $4000. We appreciate any help that we can get and any leads on homes or foster homes would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you and Lamar thanks you!!
REINDEER PUPPIES STORIES:
How can anyone forget our Reindeer Pups of 2011? As the story goes, it was a cold winter day when a transport was en root to rescue groups out of state. The journey promised safety to animals that escaped from the horrors of the Georgia gas chambers. The transport was filled with a list of animals leaving behind (to die) a pregnant shepherd mix ready to give birth that was not on the list. Miraculously provisions were made and the sad shepherd was on her way to a new life. Hours after arriving safely at an Animal Life Savers foster home. SHE GAVE US A MIRACLE OF HER OWN, TEN PUPPIES.
The dog was named Faith and found a home with her foster parents. As the Christmas season approached the pups were ready to be adopted. They were named after Santa's Reindeer knowing they would deliver happiness to so many families and homes, AND SO THEY DID!
WE ARE ASKING FOR ANOTHER MIRACLE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
