Gift of love to support the Plov's

February 26, 2014
Aaron and Rachel headed back to OHSU this morning. Rachel had a successful Angiogram. They are in the recovery room right now and will soon be headed to ICU. Her open brain surgery is still scheduled for this coming Monday. Please continue to pray and add this prayer request to prayer chains. Thank you for all of the love! We know Rachel deserves the best!

While Aaron and Rachel have been working hard at rehabilitation mostly at home, there is a MAJOR procedure coming up.
Rachel will be undergoing open brain surgery.  They are headed back to start everything over on February 26.
While the funds that were donated this far went to support The Plov family and has been much appreciated, beyond words! They are now struggling financially.  Aaron does not qualify for unemployment, as his time off work is considered Family Leave. They are working with an attorney to start the process of applying        For social security. This is a lengthy process.
I ask that once again you take a look at what you can help Aaron and Rachel with financially. Aaron NEEDS to be with Rachel and take care of his two children under 4. Aaron has done a wonderful job taking on all household duties as well as a newborn and Rachel's medical needs.  If there were awards, Aaron would win father and husband of the year!
Please consider again what you can do to help this family make it.   Can you share this post? Can you donate financially (needed very much!), can you deliver a dinner to them? How can you help? What resources do you have?

December 10, 2013. For the most recent updates please view the activity log. The activity log/comments section shows Rachel's progression, which we all look forward to viewing! You will see my previous posts as well as those from other friends and family members. We would love to hear from those with the most recent updates. Love to you all. Thank you for the continued support!

November 26, 2013. Update: Today we saw some remarkable improvements. Momma Rachel was finally able to meet baby Mason. Rachel is responding and is getting stronger. They removed her breathing tubes. She is not out of the woods yet. The doctors are expecting this to be a long journey. In 8 days or so doctors will be injecting a dye into her brain and in another 8 days they are expecting to operate. Rachel is currently looking at spending up to 3 months in the hospital. Aaron is having to make some difficult decisions. He will be the caregiver for his 2 boys, including his newborn Mason and Jaxson, 3 1/2 years. This means he will be out of work. We wish for Aaron to focus on his family during this time.
We thank everyone for their support this far. We ask that you continue to support them is all ways you are able to,including prayers! As you can see I have raised the goal so that we can support them financially over the next 3 months. Updates will be posted as we get more information.

November 25, 2013. Today Rachel Breasher's Plov suffered a stroke from complications of a brain aneurysm. She delivered baby Mason via emergency c section. He is a healthy 4 lbs, 2 oz. but is in the NICU. Aaron is supporting mother and baby at the hospital. This is only the beginning of this journey as the doctors will be running more diagnostics and make a decision on brain surgery. Please help support this family through these difficult times so they can focus on getting well, as Aaron will be missing work to care for his family. Prayers are also very much appreciated.I apologize in advance for any misinformation as some of this information is second hand from family.
