CoCo cares donates money and raises awareness for many important issues in our community. This particular issue is very close to our hearts as it affects one of our very own stylists, Caryn. Chris and Caryn are wonderful people, and we really appreciate your help with this cause.<3
Here is Chris's story in his own words...
My name is Christopher Burgess and I currently live in Waterboro Maine with my lovely wife Caryn. I attended school in Rumford Maine and graduated from Mountain Valley High School. In 2002. I moved down to southern Maine and have been here since. I enjoy life to the fullest and do pretty much anything outdoors that my body will allow me to do. I have a passion for motors and enjoyed snowmobiling and riding dirt bikes as a kid. I pretty much like anything with a motor that goes fast. Also very into MMA fighting like Bellator and the UFC.
I am currently undergoing the grueling process of being listed for a double lung transplant at Brigham and Woman's hospital down in Boston, MA due to having Cystic Fibrosis. We are trying to raise money to help the funding of my doctor visits "pre" and "post" surgery along with all the medical expenses that come along with such a huge surgery and very lengthy recovery. The money will help with home finances and things while I am away and help keep my wife at ease while she is also away from her work. It means the world to the both of us to have the opportunity to know someone like Tiffany that is willing to lend a hand and enjoys helping people who are in need. We both can't thank her enough for all her kindness and help.
We also want to thank all of those who are willing to donate and say that it means a great deal to us. Please feel free to tell others and share with anyone else you can think of. Thank you all so very much.
