My mom's medical fund

On July 25, 2017 my mom, Frances Delaney received a diagnosis of chondrosarcoma - a type of cancerous tumor that derived from the cartilage in her skull and has embedded itself deep within her brain.  Over the last several weeks she has had consults with 3 different surgeons and today it was determined that she requires to travel to Halifax on September 1, 2017 to meet with two neurosurgeons as treatment is not available here. We are being told that Dr. David Clarke is one of the best Neurosurgeons and may be able to remove the tumor with better success. This is very short notice and we are looking to you, our family and friends to help relieve the financial burden.

Many of you know my mom, and to know her is to love her. Both her and my dad have spent many years looking after many children as foster parents, they raised 6 children, and have taken adults with disabilities  into their home with welcome arms to take care of them. My dad who is ill himself and is waiting major surgery is unable to travel with her at this time, so I will be taking this journey step by step with my mom.  Every dollar will help bring her one step closer to helping her get the treatment she needs and  get her through her recovery.
