DaSilva Family

Kelly Buriss DaSilva passed away on May 12th after succumbing to a three and a half week battle with irreversible brain and cardiac trauma secondary to a routine angioplasty.  This painful loss has devastated those who love her although none more than her husband, Jimmy and their boys, Logan and Nash.  Kelly had a career she loved and was the sole breadwinner in the family, providing Jimmy with the opportunity to stay home and take care of their beloved boys.  Kelly was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was a dedicated memeber of the Encinitas community, touching countless lives from her PTA involvement to her tireless efforts to help those less fortunate.  It is our fervent hope that we will be able to honor Kelly's memory by helping to take care of what mattered most to her-her family.  Please send any photographs and/or memories you have of Kelly so that we can put together a 'Celebration of Life' book for Jimmy and the boys to:

Her legacy will live on through the stories we share; giving life to the memories in our hearts.

There has been an outpouring of support from the community with so many wanting to show their love to the DaSilva family.  And while there is nothing that can repalce her profound presence that is forever lost, donating to this page will help the family as they grieve and figure out how to navigate their lives and find a way to move forward with out her.  Any amount will be incredibly appreciated and used with intention and gratitude.
