Help Vanguard Students Attend North Bay

Over one hundred 7th grade students from Vanguard Collegiate Middle School in Baltimore City have an incredibly exciting opportunity--to attend North Bay Adventure Camp for a whole week! From February 3rd-7th, students who attend North Bay will experience a full range of educational and character-building activities, from environmental-focused hikes to climbing the rock wall. Students will stay the week in weatherized cabins, enjoy 3 meals a day, and be served by counselors who are specially trained in helping middle school students grow and recognize their full potential. We have been blessed to have the price per student lowered from $175 per student all the way down to $80 per student. However, for many families that amount is still out of reach (our school serves a low-income population, 90% most of whom receive free or reduced meals (FARMs)). Thus, we need your help: to be able to give scholarships to those students who need it most, as well as to afford the buses to and from North Bay, we'll need to raise a lot of money. With about 110 seventh grade students, plus 3 buses, it will take a lot. But if we team together, we can make this happen.
