Etiana's Journey to the South Pacific!

I, Etiana Evadne have been selected to attend the People to People Ambassador Program: Journey through the South Pacific Delegation during the summer 2014. It is a 3 week trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in July 2014 where I will represent the United States as a Student Ambassador and Global Citizen. I have a passion for art, drawing, nature and all its beauty, music, reading and anything that has to do with anime. My life vision is to move the world forward into a new era by starting my own business along with building and running my own school. I am very passionate about my interests in human rights, going green, peace and unity movements in the world and especially gaining knowledge about the world and learning new subjects. There are many children around the world whether they are girls or boys who cannot get the education they want because it is not safe or they don't have the financial funds to go to school. The vision I have is to create a school for children all around the world to come together and learn. The purpose of the school is to educate the next generation of people not through just the education of the mind, but through the education of the heart and how to understand others and the world around them. Thus, I also want to travel the world to find all sorts of people who would want to help me achieve this vision and help turn it into a reality. In addition, I have always wanted to create my own business that would provide all-natural food sources, others resources and goods to the world; which is also connected to a philanthropic charity that builds eco-green houses as well as provide clothing, food, and goods to people around the world. Attending this program will help expand my view on the world in understanding and taking part in the cultures of these countries by building connections with the people who live there with this once in a lifetime experience and opportunity. The educational experience of this trip will be amazing, helping us get inspired about school, life and also importantly other people's lives. As a Student Ambassadors I will get to work on several activism projects in each country to leave a positive footprint on the world, as well as attending a local school in New Zealand along with a home stay.
