Paint The Town Gay!

The mayor of Springdale recently turned the LGBT community's request to paint a crosswalk in rainbow colours down. He stated, among other things, that this would be an inadequate way to spend taxpayer money. Monies raised will cover the cost of paint supplies so the town doesn't have to worry about taxpayer dollars. I am personally from rural NL but reside in NS.
