"5 For life" is 5 local Crookhaven/Goleen ladies who are under taking over 330km of running from the top of Co.Kerry to the tip of Co.Cork.
Emma Jepson, Carolyn Daly, Nuala Hodnett, Karen Hegarty & Gillian Newman will begin in Tarbert in Co.Kerry on Wednesday the 20th of June & finish in Crookhaven on Saturday the 23rd of June.
We will be running an average of 18km a day in a relay set up to cover the distance.
We are fundraising for Marymount,Bantry Hospice & West Cork Feel Good Youth Programme.
Marymount & Bantry Hospice provide a very important service to patients.
West Cork Feel Good Youth Programme is aimed at events to help with adolescent mental health issues.
We are currently looking for main sponsors to come on board who will have there details on our running gear & advertised on the support vehicles.
We will be hosting a series of fundraising events over the coming months to raise much needed funds for these charities.
