For Whitney Scherer's Treatment

On July 23rd, 2013 my 28 year-old friend, Whitney was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the cervix.
As a result, she had to have a radical hysterectomy, at which time 23 lymph nodes were removed as well. Unfortunately the cancer had spread to one of the lymph nodes necessitating almost 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy which will start in early December.
While some of her expenses have been covered by insurance, she is still faced with the high cost of specialized treatment.
During this ordeal, she has been touched by the outpouring of love and support of her friends and family, many of which have asked how they can help.
I have started this site in an effort to help Whit get through this difficult time and rebuild her life. Please know that each and every contribution is appreciated!
