Tim & Pat Davison - Emergency Fund

My name is Teri Davison, I am the niece of Timothy and Patricia Davison. On the night of March 31st, 2023- severe weather passed through their town of Adamsville in McNairy County, Tennessee. Their home was in the direct path of destruction- and now it is gone. When the sun came up this morning, they were faced with the most devastating “April Fool’s Joke” imaginable. It’s a miracle that their lives were spared. I was able to make contact with my aunt this morning- she described to me hiding in the bathroom as she watched the roof tear away from their home that was built with love and the blood sweat and tears of their tight knit community.

Everything they worked so hard to piece together was torn down and thrown about by Mother Nature as if it were meaningless trash. A 40-foot semi-trailer, used to store her beloved holiday decorations, seasonal clothing, my uncle’s tools, and other treasured items was effortlessly hurled yards away; now laying upside down, in a ditch, half crumbled and inaccessible.

They’ll spend the upcoming days digging through the rubble, trying to salvage whatever they can; pictures, family heirlooms, pieces of their lives that may be irreplaceable. But there is so much that they need to replace.

Even suffering their own losses, several members of the community have banded together to pay for a motel room for a few days, taking that little weight off their shoulders, temporarily. After that- they aren’t sure what they will have, where they will go or how they will get there.

Their car is not drivable; only time will tell if it will be a total or a repair. Of course, insurance claims are already backing up.

The house and their possessions were NOT INSURED.

Everyone that knows me knows that when someone in need emerges, I am the first to volunteer my time and effort to help them out. I am always the last to ask for help for myself. I am begging each of you, that if you could find it in your heart to give- even just the smallest amount, collectively, it will add up.

They do not currently have any type of peer-to-peer money transfer accounts set up, but I have Zelle, Paypal, CashApp and Venmo; If you wish to donate by these means- it also saves on the crowdfunding fees and would provide immediate access to the funds.
