<div>Hola, somos Pita y Karim, somos papás de Gastón. Queremos compartirte algo muy importante para nosotros.

<div>Hace unos días, debido a una preeclampsia severa, tuve que ser intervenida de emergencia. Gracias al trabajo y entrega de los doctores, lograron salvar nuestras vidas.
</div>

</div>
<div>Así nació Gastón, nuestro hijo, en la semana 28 de gestación, pesando solo 950 gramos y midiendo 35 centímetros. Un bebé muy, muy prematuro, pero con un corazón inmenso y una fuerza que nos conmueve todos los días.
</div>

</div>
<div>Hoy, Gastón está luchando por su vida. Su estado es grave y necesita permanecer hospitalizado, por lo menos, tres meses en cuidados intensivos neonatales. Día con día, enfrenta retos enormes: respirar por sí solo, regular su temperatura, alimentarse, regular su corazón, crecer. Y aunque su cuerpecito es pequeño, su espíritu es gigante.

<div>Contamos con un seguro médico que ha sido un gran respaldo hasta ahora, pero, como muchas familias en situaciones similares, la suma asegurada no será suficiente para cubrir toda la hospitalización, los estudios, medicamentos y tratamientos que Gastón necesita para tener una oportunidad real de salir adelante.

<div>Por eso, hoy con mucha humildad, les pedimos ayuda. Cada aporte, por pequeño que parezca, suma esperanza. Suma vida. Suma tiempo para que Gastón siga luchando, para que podamos acompañarlo y darle la bienvenida a este mundo con el amor y los cuidados que merece.

<div>Hello, we are Pita &amp; Karim and we are the parents of Gaston. We want to share with you something very important to us.
</div>

<div>A few days ago, due to severe preeclampsia, I had to have emergency intervention. Thanks to the wonderful effort &amp; care from the doctors, they managed to save our lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And then, at only 28 weeks of gestation, our son Gaston was born. Weighing only slightly more than 2 pounds and measuring 13.78”. A very, very premature baby, but with a huge heart &amp; a strength that moves us forward every day.
</div>

<div>Today Gaston is fighting for his life. His condition is very grave and he needs to remain hospitalized for at least three months in the NICU. Day to day he faces enormous challenges: breathing on his own, regulating his temperature, feeding, regulating his heart and growing. And even though his body is so very little, his spirit is huge.

<div>We are counting on medical insurance that has been a great support so far, but, like many families in a similar situation, the insurance cap is not sufficient to cover all his medical &amp; hospital expenses such as the tests, medicines &amp; treatments that Gaston needs in order to have a real opportunity to get well and be strong enough to leave the hospital.

<div>Therefore, it is with much humility that we ask for your help. Even a small donation gives us immense hope and it gives us life. It will give Gaston time to continue fighting, for us to be able to be with him and welcome him into to this world with all the love and care he deserves.
