Hoping for the kindness of others

I lost my house and my dear husband, who was a U.S. Marine, and then a teacher in the Cupertino School District for 35 years. Unfortunately, his pensions did not continue after he passed away 13 years ago. In the spring of 2018 I had life threatening back surgery. Approximately three months after my surgery my eldest son who was seriously injured on the job as a Paramedic 14 years earlier, suddenly passed away. Now, at age 82, recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, I have come to the end of my life savings. I have $727 a month in Social Security, and my rent is over $1000 a month. I need help, and I am hoping for the kindness of those who see this post. I spent my life helping others and although I never expected anything in return, I find myself in great and immediate need.
