Jimmy Wray is a horse lover. He is a man who has loved, cared for, and built his life around horses.

For over 40 years, Jimmy has been buying, selling, training and showing horses and ponies. Jimmy will say he specializes in green horses, but the truth is, he specializes in horses in need. He has been retraining off-track Thoroughbreds his entire career.

Several of these horses have made it into the top ranks of show jumping including Bold Pisces who competed successfully at the Grand Prix level. Jimmy has also successfully worked to bring ex-racehorses to the hunter ring. He once purchased a three year-old that later became AHSA horse of the year.

But it is the countless OTTBs that have gone on to be a trusted mount, friend and just great horse that really matter. Jimmy has changed the lives of so many horses over the years and touched the lives of countless horsemen and women as well. Those of us that know him, love him. And now he needs our help...

Jimmy suffered a stroke on November 15, 2013. He has very little insurance to cover his medical bills and will not be able to work for an indefinite amount of time during his recovery. Any amount of money we can raise for his bills and living expenses will help him.
