Helping families in need...

Puerto Rico was recently hit by Hurricane Maria, this has hit me close to home. This hurricaine caused major devastation, in a place that is so precious and humble. It has been so sad everyday seeing the news and feeling that I'm unable to help my own people. Seeing pictures of the town I grew up in under water is emotionally draining for me. I grew up in a middle class town call Canovanas, a place were I have all my childhood memories. Seeing my uncle, friends and old neighbors lose essentially everything they own. (Their home, furniture, cars and even memories) causes me to feel uncomfortable and seek help from family and friends.

I will love to raise $10,000.00. I want to help 10 familes by providing $1000 to each of these families in need and give them a head start in life.... I will be contacting a local non-profit organization to find 10 families in need, The money will be used wisely and the information will be shared.
Today we are ok, but we never what tomorrow might bring. I Hope you can help me with this good cause.
