Susan Norton Bucket List

All of us that know Sue can recall times shared with her that are unforgettable, because she made them so.  I've known Sue my whole life and I am lucky enough to call her my Aunt. She used to practice cutting my hair while persuing her degree in hairstyling, and although I can barely remember the results there are pictures to prove it. Not my favorite pictures but proof nonetheless.  This led to the promise of free lifetime haircuts for my family and myself and all the Superman and McGyver haircuts that followed, which I do remember, were payment of that promise. Well worth it... I loved McGyver.  I still do! I can remember as a kid some of the best moments of my life shared with my aunt Sue and her kids, my cousins, Olivia and Angie. I would get so excited when they would travel across South Dakota to visit us. I would wait by the window, watching, with such anxiety I could barely hold it in and upon first glimpse of their car I would burst out the door to go say hello, or sometimes hide in my closet if the anxiety became too much.  As I got older this behavior barely changed, and neither did our friendship. We're coyotes, Sue and I, and that makes our relationship special because we look at things the same way, we view life in a similar manner. That is why I know everything is going to be alright. For those of you who for whatever reason have not yet heard, Sue has been diagnosed with cancer. We know the cancer is in an advanced state but are still waiting to hear many further details of this devastating news. Our hopes are always optimistic and our thoughts positive, but the worst is always a possibility we have to consider. Most of all Sue needs your prayers and positive energy to help get her through it. No matter the time left, be it a year or twenty, I want my aunt to be able to spend that time doing any and everything she always wanted to do. It is also necessary that Sue and her daughters, Olivia and Angie, can be as comfortable in this hard time as possible. This is why I am asking you to help in whatever way you can. It doesn't matter if you can only afford $1 or if you can drop $100, anything will help and be appreciated. If you have too little extra cash to donate but live close to her maybe you could call and ask if there are any errands that need done, maybe a meal could be dropped off to make things easier on them. Everything counts, anything helps, and all of your prayers are appreciated and will be remembered. If you know Sue but have lost contact with her, or have a memory or story that you want to share, please contact me through the app and I will do what I can to keep you informed or reconnect you if at all possible. I would love to hear your memories and will be sure to pass them along. Thanks again for reading and thanks so so much for your help.  Jacob
