On 6th April, my daughter Karley was diagnosed with MS, Cowden's Syndrome and a rare brain tumour ( dysplastic gangliocytoma) also know as Lhermitte Duclos Disease.
Due to the toll that the tumour has taken on her body, she is no longer able to walk without the aid of crutches and has had to give up work for the foreseeable future.
Cowden's Syndrome, is a cancer-causing disease, which may then lead to preventive surgeries eg, hysterectomy and mastectomy,
The cowdens syndrome is the cause of the brain tumour, which needs to be managed also.
Ryan and Karley have 3 young children who they both wish to see grow up, so any help that they can receive will go towards helping Karley with rehab and getting the best possible care so that she can fight these diseases and grow old whilst watching their children grow old.
If we can raise enough funds, Karley will be able to see all the specialists that deal with her conditions and not have to rely on the public system,then hopefully her road to recovery will be much faster than the public system will allow and her quality of life will improve ..... we thank everyone who donates to cause.
