Saving Matt

Donation protected
No one likes to ask for help. No matter what kind of help it is. Some of you already may know but my son-n-law Matt is very sick and has been for a few months now. He was diagnosed as being in renal failure, basically both of his kidneys are shot. My daughter Natasha and Matt both have been working their tails off trying to keep him well. They have several appointments weekly, hours of dialysis daily, taking care of their daughter Ava, and they have been doing it without complaint, and without asking for help. Matt is a strong, family man who feels horrible about them struggling. Which just shows what an amazing husband and father he really is. Natasha is strong and a nourture who works endlessly to try and make sure everything is done and everyone is ok. She has been working so hard outside of the home to try and cover for when Matt is just to sick to make it to work. She comes home and is his full time caregiver. Unfortunately Matt has needed more and more dialysis and it is making him so severally sick he has missed more and more work. It is now to the point where he needs to just stop working all together and just focus strictly on letting his body do what it needs to do, heal, and stay alive.  He is on the transplant list but we have know idea how long that will take.
My daughter and Matt have only been married for two years, they both knew right away that they were the one. It is truly a beautiful love story and makes this mama proud. It completely breaks my heart not to be able to fix this.
I know this time of year can be hard. It just shows that you never know when you or loved ones can get hit with something so devestating and scary. Anything you can give will help, no amount is to small or big. This Christmas they are celebrating with love, togetherness, and grateful to have each other. All funds will go to paying their expenses during this time. Keeping their apartment, power, food, medical needs etc.
Our family has been helping and will continue to do so. Unfortunately it is just not enough. We appreciate all of you and your help. Please continue to send prayers their way and feel free to share this page..
Thank you for your time. Happy holidays from our family to yours.
