Help Andrew Fight Cancer

Hello Everyone. My name is Andrew. I’m 35 years old, and was until recently a full-time student completing my last semester for a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at CSU-Pueblo and previously a Treatment Supervisor for at-risk youths in Canon City.
As some of you may know at the end of 2018 I began to experience debilitating headaches, intense back and joint pain as well as severe focus and memory problems. Unfortunately my medical doctors were unable to diagnose me right away and my long term disability insurance from work was denied leaving me financially stricken.
In December of 2019, I was finally diagnosed with Kidney Cancer, more specifically an aggressive form of Renal Cell Carcinoma as well as Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), Lupus, Degenerative Disk Disease, NAFLD and Major Cognitive Impairment . I was in complete shock and had no idea what I was going to do. My last semester of school had to be put on hold and I was still unable to work. Finally, my surgeon explained that my tumor was growing rapidly and the only option was an immediate Radical Nephrectomy or the removal of my left kidney. It has been 4 weeks since my surgery and it’s clear my recovery will be slow and painful especially with my other diagnoses.
My situation will require continued time away from work, physical therapy, possible radiation, and medical equipment purchases. My mother has made many sacrifices for me since my diagnosis and continues to do so, however we have reached a point where we are in real need of help from those who can.
Funds raised will be used to pay for basic living expenses; rent, utilities and potential medical expenses.
Any help would be incredibly appreciated, and will help me with my goal of eventually returning to work, hopefully finishing my degree and regaining a life of service. I also hope to be able to someday repay my family who has gone into debt to keep me from becoming homeless at the most desperate time in my life, and be there for them, if and when they may need me.
-- Thank you so much
