Blessings For Ivy Rose

Hello friends and family I’m here on behalf of my good friends Pam and Chris. 2 months ago Pam noticed something was not right with her beautiful 2 year old baby girl Ivy. She took her to the pediatrician to have a check up focusing on her eyes. Everything seemed normal to them but Pam insisted something was not right with Ivy. The doctor finally agreed to send Ivy to the ophthalmologist where he agreed with Pam, he too thought something was just not right. Thanks to the persistence of a worried mother who didn’t settle with the first doctor’s conclusion, he sent Ivy for a cat scan. The cat scan revealed a mass forming behind Ivy’s right eye. Pam and Chris were instructed to take their baby girl on countless trips to Boston children’s hospital. Finally, leading to a biopsy. Following the biopsy they found out Ivy has a rare type of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Upon hearing the distressing news about 2 year old Ivy her parents Pam and Chris finally felt relief knowing what was causing their little girl pain and suffering for weeks. With the help of doctors, they would now be able to plan and start their fight as a family against this malignant tumor. The young family of 3 has incurred many unexpected additional expenses due to this situation ie; medical bills, medicines, traveling back and forth to Boston for weekly chemo therapies all while taking time out of work with no pay, etc. Money should be the last thing they have to worry about at a time like this. Along with your thoughts and prayers, lets help this young family through an extremely difficult time as much as we can.
