The Wooden Spoon Café

I am the new owner of The Wooden Spoon Café located in Chokio, MN. This has happened fairly unexpectedly and quickly! I am more then excited as it's my dream to own a small cafe. Cooking for and feeding people is my passion. The local economic development boards who would normally be able to help me with short term small business loans are currently low on extra funds at the moment. I am currently working with the Stevens county board but that will take some time to get my official business plan perfected for presenting to the board. The loan for buying the building is not currently the issue as that's being taken care of but the loan for funds to get open is where I'm stuck at. Here is a break down of what I am needing help with:1) The ovens in the kitchen need to be switched from natural gas hook ups to LP hook ups2) the front door catches and is difficult to open & the side door needs replacing. 3) start up food costs4) state of MN department of health license Once I have the funds for these 4 things and finish my cleaning I am ready to open!
