Community Service in Nicaragua!

Until really recently, Nicaragua struggled with lack of human rights - that included widespread child labor, unlawful killings by members of the security forces, violation of worker rights in free trade zones and others serious social problems. As known, many of these problems were prior to the Nicaraguan Revolution (caused by an intense and aggressive around the 1960's), but some of them continued to exist even after. Luckily today, new constitutions and laws improved the overall life quality for many Nicaraguans; considering human rights and some of the most basic and important individual rights.
Although Nicaragua is an interesting and culturally rich country; there is always space for extra help! Gladly, I received the opportunity to go to Nicaragua for a 8 days to do community service through an international project from my school. I feel extremely fortunate to be chosen, because I known a lot of people apply for these projects and not everyone has the opportunity to go.
Being from Brazil, I deeply value projects and help from people that are willing to make the community a better place for everyone; because I know Brazil itself could use some little help from our own community.
Any help is appreciated!
