<div>My name is Erik. I've spent my life content to work hard and help take care of my family. However, nothing could've prepared me for the gut-wrenching feelings of sadness and helplessness as a result of the news from Max's team of doctors. The doctors said that my 17 month old son had an inoperable brain tumor (brainstem glioma).

<div>Max was born prematurely and has hearing loss on his right side. Max also developed some other disabilities over time. Max's doctors were unaware of the cause of all of these disabilities until 2/2/24. On 2/2/24, we had an MRI of Max's brain. The biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumor, (brainstem glioma). Treatments were recommended to help prevent the tumor from growing and possibly even shrink it.

<div>If you know anyone who is living with a brain tumor, you know that we desperately need to find an effective cure but that can be costly.

<div>As of now, these funds will assist any exorbitant medical costs that aren't covered by my insurance. This includes, and isn't limited to, any and all treatments, medicines, aftercare, special equipment, accommodations and administrative fees.
