Kayden Adams: Gone Too Soon❤️

Donation protected
We tragically lost Kayden Adams in the early hours of April 8, 2018. Kayden was 15, a freshman at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School. He was an intelligent, kind and all around good citizen. He was well liked, loved and will be greatly missed. His funeral/ memorial is currently being planned and this campaign is to help his parents, Aron and his stepmom Lorna with these costs in this difficult time.

His early departure has left me wrestling with questions we may never know the answers to.  In this time of mourning and holding his memory close to heart, I feel it’s appropriate to start this conversation. Families, teachers, friends, classmates, neighbors.. community.

What can we do to prevent this from happening again? It’s time to educate/ re-educate ourselves on teen suicide.

Increase awareness: Knowing the signs, knowing where to go, knowing who to talk and making these resources visible and accessible is the first step. There is help and resources available to us.  Crisis line, National Suicide Prevention Helpline, prevention websites. www.youth.gov has a good amount of useful information.

Talk to each other. Let our kids know: If you see something, it’s ok to say something.

Hug your kids, parents, grandparents, friends, classmates, coworkers, neighbors and make it known we will support each other.  Community Strong!

RIP Kayden. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aron and Lorna ❤️❤️♥️
