Let’s Band Together To Help Drew!!!

I will just let Janine’s words explain what is happening: Today has been hard. Drew has not had a good day. I find myself wanting to remember every word between us, every glance, every touch... I know all our days are numbered and I feel truly blessed to have spent almost 15 years together but I am not ready to live without my husband and best friend. Back in December, Drew was not well but still able to finish school and do day to day tasks. Today (most days) he is in bed in pain and/or too weak to do much. He always feels sick, weak and flu (ish). On Friday he had enough strength to walk through Costco with me but as soon as we got home, he was exhausted and in bed. Yesterday we had an outing with Tom and Linda and it was just too much for Drew. He toughed it out but was in a lot of pain and nauseated the whole time. Isaac and I were on each side of him to help him walk and to protect him from being bumped, causing more pain. He almost made it home before falling asleep. Today he just feels weak, too weak to even get out of bed. Walking to the bathroom is exhausting for him right now. Tomorrow I am calling his PCP and going in there with him, demanding we do more! I will also ask if they ran a parasite test and if they did not, I will request we do one. I will fight with all I have to get answers. I don't understand any of this but I still pray and hope that God chooses to heal him. I truly can't imagine my life withouth my husband. I feel lost and empty even thinking about it. Forgive us if we are being selfish but right now all we want to do is spend every minute we can together as a family. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. The Prisocs continue to seek answers to this evasive undiagnosed medical condition. Drew has lost a ton of weight and the medical community can not figure out what is wrong. Let’s help raise funds so Drew can go to the Mayo Clinic to get more testing and try so find out what is causing this horrible pain and incapacitating symptoms. This awful situation is very very hard on Drew’s wife Janine and devastating for his two young boys who love their father very very much. They are all very scared and Drew is unable to work. This is the sweetest most wonderful family who opened their home to a blind, deaf, homeless dog who no one would adopt. They struggled to help the poor dog adapt to ever changing circumstances. They stuck it out for that doggie, who has now found his forever home with them, now let’s help them in return for their love and generosity!!! This is truly a kind wonderful family!!! I can’t say enough about them.
