Dylan Church lost his battle with brain cancer on April 2. It’s obvious from the outpouring of condolences and memories, Dylan holds a special place in the hearts of so many...Those who knew him well would likely have a hard time picking just one favorite memory. I wanted to take a moment to share some of the words used when remembering Dylan...
“One of a kind. Amazing Person. The Biggest Heart. Loyal. The Most Amazing Soul. Sense of Humor. Usually found doing something to make others laugh. Great Friend. Honor of knowing him. He had an amazing gift to make the people around you laugh and feel at ease. Smart. A constant in our home. Never forgotten. One of the best men I’ve ever known. Genius. Confidant. He spent his life laughing and loving. Sarcasm. The funniest person I know. Clown. Beloved. Somehow Dylan managed to be everyone’s ‘best friend’...and he managed to not only pull it off, but was actually good at it. Heart of Gold. Effortlessly lit up a room. No matter what I try to say it just seems inadequate...I cannot put into words how much I will miss you Dylan. Love & Respect Brother.”
I think it’s safe to say, to know Dylan was to truly to love him. I’m not sure we’ll ever meet anyone quite like him again...and that’s ok.
If you wish to give, we are collecting donations to help defer the costs of medical bills, to family members who cared for Dylan in his final days, and for the Celebration of Life that will be held in lieu of a funeral.
