Eric Purdam's Heart Healthy Journey

On Tuesday, April 3rd, Eric had gone to the ER due to pneumonia symptoms. After X-Rays, they noticed his heart was enlarged and surrounded by fluid prompting his transportation to the University of Toledo Medical Center to undergo numerous tests. It was determined by the surgeon and cardiologist that his heart is twice its normal size and is in such bad shape, a heart transplant may be the only option due to the amount of damage. Today, April 6th, Eric was transferred to the University of Cleveland and has a new team of doctors. Eric Purdam and Brittani Guggisberg have a one year old son together, named Landon. His first birthday was yesterday, April 5th, and tomorrow is his party! (Yay Landon!) Although this a trying time, Eric still wants his party to go on. As you all know, the bills won't stop coming, so let's help this family make this as stress free as possible! We will keep everyone updated on Eric's condition as we know more.
