Last year after an injury that needed a MRI, doctors found a lump. Since then, I have been going through tests. My health has deteriorated to the point where I could no longer work and had to go on a Leave of Absence in February.
My biopsy has come back, and I have my surgery set for April 19. My short-term disability hasn’t gone through yet, so I have not been able to pay my bills, which adds stress that compounds my health issues.
I have good days and bad days, ranging from blacking out, dizziness, confusion, and memory loss. Sometimes my blood pressure tanks, which leads to being admitted to the hospital.
On my good days, I need to sit down often, and I feel anywhere from tipsy to drunk. I am not able to drive, so I have to rely on taxis or those around me for transportation assistance. With the medical and monthly bills, I’m more and more overwhelmed.
