George’s Cancer Treatment

George was rushed to the Stollery April 1st when blood tests came back to us showing signs of cancer. We only know at this point that he has leukaemia. Hopefully within the next day or two we will have some answers as to the type of leukaemia and what our course of treatment will be.George will be in the Stollery for a minimum of 2 weeks. We anticipate a long road ahead of us. Both Mom and Dad are taking time off of work so that we can take turns on 24 hour shifts to be with him. As many of you know we still have three other children at home who need our care and love.We could definitely use a little financial help at this point. Paying for parking, gas, food for Mom and Dad while at the hospital etc is adding up at an alarming rate. And of course there will be more and more costs as time goes on.George has requested that someone be with him at all times. He is being brave and strong, but he is still a little boy who was just told he has cancer. It’s a huge, scary word. As his Mom, I need to be able to do everything in my power to make this as easy as possible for my boy.I thank you now for any donation you feel you can make to our family. And if you can’t, I completely understand.I will do my best to keep his condition and progress updated on this page.
