Send Ransford Home to Honor Late Brother

As you may know, Ransford Pinto, our colleague, classmate, and friend, lost his older brother Ashoa on Sunday, and because he is currently unable to return to his family in Ghana, we would like to raise the funds to send him home over winter break to be with loved ones. Being separated from friends and family following the loss of a loved one is challenging enough, never mind being 6,000 miles away from home. Ransford deserves this opportunity to not only pay his respects to his brother, but also to be with his family during the grieving process. Everyone deserves the chance to say goodbye to those we've lost, and because Ransford is such a source of positive energy to those around him, I wanted to rally his friends here in the U.S. to begin to return the favor.

We are trying to raise $2,500 for airfare and living expenses to send him home to Ghana over the holidays and spend time with his mother, brothers, other family members and friends, and to pay his respects to his departed brother, whom Ransford says was his closest companion in life.
