Carlyn Bradarich for Miss USA 2014!

Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Carlyn Bradarich, Miss Iowa USA 2014. Currently, I am in my senior year at the University of Iowa studying Finance at the Henry B. Tippie College of Business, and I am an active alumni of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Rho Chapter.
I am excited and ready to represent the state of Iowa at the 2014 MISS USA national pageant. As the state titleholder, the state pageant and their team of official sponsors have provided me with numerous resources, as well as my travel lodging and meals for the national pageant. Of course, in addition to all of the items provided by the state pageant and sponsors, there are always additional expenses in preparing for such a high caliber competition. Additionally, my family will incur various expenses in order to attend the national pageant to support me.

I am lucky enough to come from a big family whose love and support have allowed me to pursue my dream of competing in the MISS USA ® national pageant. I am the fourth of five children to Jay and Kim Bradarich, with three brothers and one sister, Ashley, who held the title of Miss Illinois USA in 2010. I am so grateful to have my family and the support of my state sponsors to stand by me throughout this extraordinary journey. At this time, I am looking to expand my support group by asking family and friends to help me prepare for this opportunity of a lifetime. I am looking for any form of encouragement and donations in order to prepare me as much as possible for the MISS USA ® competition.

As Miss Iowa USA 2014, I enjoy getting involved in the community. I have volunteered in hospitals for a number of years, and have contributed to a variety of philanthropies and fundraising events throughout my time at the University of Iowa. I have worked with groups such as Girls on the Run, which is a transformational learning program for young girls to inspire them to live a healthy and confident lifestyle using fun, physical activity and conversational based lessons. I also spend my time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City, IA. I have a passion for animals and hope to get more involved with non-profit animal rescue organizations such as ASPCA. Additionally, as Miss Iowa USA I am eager to work with other organizations that will allow me to give back and inspire others to pursue their hopes and dreams through organizations such as the Make a Wish Foundation, Best Buddies, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

I am committed to mentally and physically preparing myself in order to do my best at the national pageant. Now, I am asking for your help and support. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and your contributions, no matter the amount, will help me with the expenses involved in the MISS USA ® national pageant preparations. Expenses include, a national competition wardrobe, competition training and preparation, as well as supplies and traveling costs.

Donations of any amount are appreciated, and I will gladly send each generous donor one of my official Miss Iowa USA, 2014 signed autograph cards. I am so thankful to be able to experience this amazing opportunity, and appreciate everyone who is willing to support me on my pursuit to become the next MISS USA ®!

Thank you,
Carlyn Bradarich
