Dear community,
On the evening of September 9th, Bailey and his owner were on their Sunday walk through their city of San Pedro when Bailey was tragically struck by a large SUV. The driver heartlessly fled the scene, but Bailey was kept alive by CPR administered in the middle of 9th street by his owner and a good samaritan.
As with most pets, Bailey is far more than a dog; he's a full fledged member of a young family - a lovable protector and loyal friend - the family's heart and soul. The kids and family are absolutely devastated.
Bailey is now clinging to life at the emergency vet, with the bills piling up as the devastated family tries whatever treatment possible to save this gentle giant. Currently, Baileys bills have surpassed $4,000, and rising. Tests need to be done to assess possible paralysis and brain function. We will give updates on Bailey as we get them...

Rehab exam $50
Full Wheelchair (estimate given from K-9 Carts $650) Not purchased yet.
