Minsk Orphanage/Hockey 2014

Each January for the past 9 years a group of Canadians has traveled to Minsk, Belarus, to play in a hockey tournament. Last year the team made a special visit to an orphanage in Minsk, and brought gifts to the kids. The response of the kids was wonderful! This year we would like to make a bigger splash. Our team, made up of age 40+ Canadians from business, medicine, sports, firefighting, law, and a few ex-pros, will once again play in the hockey tournament from January 3-7. We will also visit the orphanage, and would like some support in making a bigger donation. To encourage your support, we are trying to organize the team's participation in a Belorussian tradition, and go for a swim in the semi frozen river, through a hole the ice. 2014 Roster (swimmers) include: Kelly Allin, Perry Braun, Paul Clatney, Wayne Cowley, James Dann, Bryan Deasley, Kerry Goulet, Mark Jooris, Jay McKee, Toni Miil (HAHA she won't but will be there in heart and spirit), Jason Smith, Pat Soden, Randy Osborne, Mike Wilson Please support our team to support the kids at the orphanage during our trip to Minsk!
