On December 7, 2013 I am competing for the state title of MISS ALASKA USA® 2014. My strong interests in Alaska Native corporation business, information technology, and federal government contracts lead me to the following educational and career goals: BBA Management of Information Systems, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)®, Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM)®.
My desire is to empower girls and women alike across the State of Alaska, commit to something greater than oneself that makes a lasting difference, collaborate with various organizations to proactively advocate issues such as domestic violence, suicide, but also promote opportunity and education. I want to become an effective leader who represents my Iñupiaq culture with pride and honor.
I truly believe in my message:
Every person has a purpose, every person has value, and every person has potential to succeed.
Please help me toward my goal of being crowned MISS ALASKA USA® 2014 from TOP OF THE WORLD ~ BARROW, ALASKA!!
