John Reich’s Brain Tumour Battle

Hi :) My name is John Reich, I am a 32 year old man from Sherwood Park, Alberta who was diagnosed with a Grade 2 astrocytoma brain tumour on June 23rd, 2017. A routine trip to the gym ended in 3 Grand Mal seizures within a few hours and a grim diagnosis later that night. I shattered my left arm and had a plate put in with multiples screws to put it back together. My right arm was broken and shoulder separated, which I’m still waiting for surgery to repair hopefully sooner than later. I had 4 wedge compression fractures in my back that shrunk my spine almost 2 inches. After doing 6 weeks of radiation and max does chemotherapy, I did another 6 months of chemo and ended up losing over 50 lbs. I’m currently in the process of selling my house and moving in with family, and have no more savings. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go back to my job as a welder again..I’m going to barely break even on my house as I just bought it a few years ago right before the downturn...My tumour has only shrunk 20 percent and I’m told it’s incurable and inoperable...which isn’t good enough for me. My goal is hopefully to raise enough money to at least give me a good head start to begin hyperthermia treatments with IV bags full of cancer fighting agents. At 600 dollars a treatment, it won’t take long for me to bury myself in debt, which I will if I have to. Thank you so very much to anyone who is kind enough to help me, I truly do believe this will give me years I previously wouldn’t have had! :) sorry if this sounded like a pity party, just a lot of details involved.
