Bringing Empathy to Ghana

We are a group of Singaporean students studying in the University of California, Berkeley. As youths who desire to make a difference in the
world and contribute to society, we will be going on a service learning trip to
Ghana in Africa this winter to build schools and provide basic healthcare in rural communities.
We will be traveling with Empathy FX International (http://www.empathyfx.org/), a non-profit organization whose mission is to build and sustain schools in rural areas, using education as a means to help disadvantaged areas burdened with poverty. We are a team of qualified, passionate, and driven students who believe that access to education is a right that everyone should have, and we are committed to working towards that. In Ghana, one in four kids are not literate. We want to change that.
In the 2 weeks we will spend in Ghana, we will build a school in Abeadze Dominase. We want to send over more building and teaching supplies for our Ghanaian students, so that they can learn a variety of subjects, from English to Math, Science to Art.
As such, we seek to raise as much funds as possible to go towards these goals. We humbly ask for a donation. No matter how large or small the amount is, your generous donation would provide us with the resources necessary to give these impoverished children access to education.
