Hello everyone. My name is Eugenia Siegel and I am the proud wife to my wonderful husband Ben and mother to our beautiful daughter Pierina who turns 1 this June.
I typically have a difficult time asking others for help but I am not sure where else to turn. Those who know me know that the last year has been a true test for myself and my family and now we face an even more serious challenge.
Saturday, April 9 my husband Ben was involved in a serious snowboarding accident, tearing his ACL, MCL, PCL and fracturing his tibial plateau. We're currently looking at several thousand dollars for hospital bills and a long road to his recovery. Right now, due to my current status becoming an American citizen, I have not yet been granted permission to work and with Ben looking at several months of rehabilitation and recovery I am not sure how we will be able to make ends meet over the coming months.
In addition to our hospital costs, we have monthly bill payments, gas to drive to hospital appointments, food, diapers and other needs for ourselves and our baby. Any amount is so helpful for us to ease the stress of this time and focus on getting Ben back on his feet.
