Denise's fight against stage 4 lung cancer!

Denise is a wonderful mother, friend, & sister. Her talents are many, and she would do anything to help someone in need. She is a kind heart on many levels. She has hit many bumps in the road and overcome them with triumph! Life has thrown Denise a 'bump" in the road called cancer, and the timing was definitely off. She was in between jobs and does not have health insurance. The bills are rising and so is our stress level.
On November 2, 2013 life as we knew it would change drastically!
Denise went into the hospital with what we thought was pneumonia. After several tests, cat scan, and PET scan it was determined that Denise has lung cancer. Stage 4 (terminal) at that. By Friday the 8th of November she was back at the hospital receiving her first round of Chemotherapy. Her Chemo is scheduled for three consecutive days then off for two weeks. Since being diagnosed she has received two full rounds of chemotherapy.
The hardest part of this all is the fact that she is in Portland Oregon with no family and less than a handful of people that can actually help her there. As her daughter it breaks my heart on so many levels. I cannot even begin to explain. She is having to drive herself to and from Chemo therapy along with all of the other Doctors appointments.
We are not a family to beg or barrow, but we need help yall! Any contribution you are able to make would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
