George and Tava Theis
We are deeply saddened to inform you that George Theis has recently passed (Monday, March 26, 2018) from a sudden heart attack at age 56. George is survived by his loving wife, Tava, of 27 years, his son, two daughters, his siblings and in- laws, as well as countless friends. I am one of those friends, which is why I’m putting this together. If you knew GT, I hope you will take a minute or two to read this.
George and Tava have been a blessing to so many in their community... you may have been touched by their generosity too . They’ve always had a helping hand extended to anyone lucky enough to cross their paths.
If not... you’ll see... Tava and the kids will be there when you least expect them to be someday.
I am here, humbly, asking you to help them in “their time of need.” The past six months have been unusually hard for them financially, physically and emotionally, while taking on additional jobs to pay for two college tuitions, as well as trying to maintain standard monthly bills.
The kids all worked, Mom had taken a second job while George was slowly declining. Unfortunately, the house payments fell behind after 18 years in good standing. George didn’t quit and neither did his family... SO WE CAN’T LET THEM LOSE THEIR HOME TOO... not now!
Please Help me in this ‘urgent drive’ to raise enough money for a simple ‘laying to rest’. George isn’t a ‘flashy guy’ but a stand-up, honorable, family man who would’ve never left his family with such a heavy burden. Sadly enough, they too ‘were in the process’ of getting all of their ducks-in-a row and those nagging documents in place ‘should anything happen’; however, his time ran out...no Final Arrangements, Life Ins, Burial plans, etc. no policy whatsoever to help them now.
Our goal is 10k for a simple, but nice, Funeral and Memorial to be held Wednesday April 4th, 2018, and we need 7k for this, and we need 3k for two house payments which would keep their home from foreclosure. Once they can breathe again, they feel like they can earn enough to catch up on the remaining balance with the bank. If you knew George, you know this is what he would want us to do, let’s TEAM UP and help him help his family.
But let’s take this one step further and forward this to every person you know... not to ask for the donations (albeit a bonus) but so George would not have died in vane... we can learn from this tragedy while helping this family.... we won’t have to leave our loved ones to worry or lose so much with our passing.
Let’s all pledge to get a policy (or a legitimate plan) in place by Mother’s Day if you’re a female and Fathers Day if you’re a male, in memory of GT. If you are selfless, as they are, then take care of this so your immediate loved ones don’t have the burden when you go!
We can stop this from happening to so many other families who need to grieve and not worry about where to live...nobody really knows when their time is.
Lastly, I’m on a mission to make him so proud to see everyone pulling together and supporting his family just as he would have wanted, but probably never would have expected. More important, They need us right now.... ALL of us! Anything at all, no matter big or small it will all add up and be such a huge blessing for them. I can assure you, it will be paid forward- ten times over.
As a very near and dear family friend - As a single mom for 12 years I, by no means have ‘extra’ income, but I do know they would do the same for you AND HAVE done for me.
