Be The Hero, Be The Helper

I am asking for help for someone who is near and dear to my heart. I will not name her in this post to protect her privacy. She is a wonderful mother who has escaped a terrible relationship. She has endured brutal violence in her home for many, many years. She has taken the brave first step to remove herself and her children from this violent and uncertain life. She left her home. She has a restraining order. She needs to start over. She has been isolated. She has been violated. She stayed because staying became easier than leaving. She was left with nothing. Part of the reason for anonymity is the shame and trying to preserve that one little bit where no one knows your awful secret. This wonderful woman cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is time to put her on our shoulders, to lift her up, so she can see the light. At this point, she is at the top of the nosebleeds section. Please help if you can. To ease one burden for her, this financial burden, would be a small but very significant step towards freedom. Peace.
