We never know what roads we have to cross until we are faced with the unthinkable. This is Amie's Story. Please read our journey and we are asking for positive prayer filled thoughts, but we are also reaching out to all of you in hopes of taking some of the financial burden off of Amie and Phil during this difficult time. Together we can join in this fight to help Amie receive the best possible care. Together we all can hold hands and lift her and her family up. Together we can make a huge difference.
Amie's Story
On November 13th 2013 Amie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
During the past 2 weeks she has being going for numerous tests and consultations. Her medical care is already underway. This includes, port placement to allow her to have chemotherapy treatment once every 2-3 weeks for 4-6 months. She will also be undergoing radiation therapy as well as a double mastectomy, once chemotherapy is completed.
Amie and Phil have 2 beautiful daughters, Kaydence (4 yrs old) and Saydee (4 mths old). While Amie gets the care she needs, Phil has been going with her and/or caring for their daughters which unfortunately makes him not able to work a full schedule.
Therefore, we are asking for any and all donations to lift the financial burden that comes along with this horrible illness. Lastly we want Amie to know that she is not alone in this battle. She will be faced with challenges she never dreamed of but fight them with a strength she never knew she possessed.
