izayah mccowan's overcoming autism fund

hello everyone! for those of you who do not know me my name is laycie womac and i have one child who is about to turn 5 his name is izayah mccowan. His father is Elijah mccowan. izayah has brought us so much joy but is fighting the continuous battle of autism. he was diagnosed at 3 but started therapies at 15 months old, well before we knew what was going on. right now he has a total of 8 therapies a week (including the two he has at school). it is a tough battle for us as a family, and an even tougher battle for our little guy who battles it head on daily. he is an absolutely amazing little boy and i guarantee if you've ever came in contact with him, he's made you smile. he is very loving child fortunately because a lot of children with autism are not. his main battles are gut issues, self simulation, sensory problems, and communication. he can say a few things spontaneously, but most of the time he just echos what he hears. he loves music in every way. he can sing a whole song but can't speak a sentence. the main reason we are trying to raise money is to be able to take him to a biomedical docter in atlanta. i've heard great things about this doctor but we just can't afford to take him and insurance doesn't cover it. the first visit will be $900 (just the visit not including lab work, treatment, etc). after that he will go every two weeks for an appointment that will cost $450 for the visit. if you can find it in your heart to donate anything we would forever be grateful. may god bless you all with 10x's the amount of the seed that you sew into our child to help him :)
