On November 16,
2013, Marie Keller went
home to be with the Lord. She leaves
behind her loving husband, Paul, and her three sons: Omar, Royal and Jayden.
Marie was a bright light to all who knew her. Even at a very low point in her life when she was in jail for a month for substance abuse, she found a way to lighten the lives of those around her. She was visited by a wonderful couple who helped to turn her life back to Christ. She started going to their church, Madison Baptist. She eventually became a member and was asked to head up a Celebrate Recovery program. Marie thrived in leading this group and helped many turn their lives around. Marie also worked at a memory care facility where her tender but firm touch was appreciated by all those she cared for, and those she worked with.
Marie had many talents: a wonderful gift of gab, guitar player, artist, and most of all, a great sense of humor--we loved to hear her laugh. Marie's life was really starting to flourish, with her relationship with God and her children. She had so many plans with Paul and the boys, but instead this bright light faded from us far too soon, and now her light will glow in the hearts of all those who loved and knew her.
Marie had such a generous spirit and gave abundantly to those who needed help and support. There are many who know this first hand. We ask that you will find it in your hearts to help her family during this very difficult time and donate what you can to assist with funeral and burial expenses.
