Saving Princess Ivy!!

On March 25th, 2018 Our 5 year old blonde miniature dachshund was eating her lunch when Marley, our Golden Doodle, snapped on her out of a strange defense for her food. This has never happened before, Marley has always been so friendly. With old age and loss of her best friend Mia a few months ago, she has become more detached then usual. When she attacked ivy, she nearly crushed her skull, and we rushed her to the emergency room where they did x rays. They found out her snout, where her sinus passages are, were crushed and blood is going into her sinus passages.

The doctors at the Visalia Vet said they were not capable of performing the surgery that she needs and said that our best case scenario to save our Princess Ivy is to drive her up to UC Davis Medical Center immediately. They need to do reconstructive nasal passage surgery.

Ivy has been one of the best parts of our family, she is always right there by our sides and along with us on every adventure. The thought of losing our dog is so devastating, and with the help of you guys we want to raise the money to save our baby. This surgery is going to reconstruct nasal passages and luckily we will be getting the best veterinary care available.
