Stepparent Adoption

My daughter, who is almost 11, was abandoned by her biological father before she was even born. The first 4 years of her life it was just the two of us. Then, in 2012, I married the man she now calls Daddy. Their Father/Daughter relationship was obviously part of God's plan for them. After 6 years, a stepparent adoption is long overdue. It would make my daughter extremely happy to have her Dad's last name and to finally have a Father's name on her birth certificate. This is truly the missing piece to our puzzle. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds to start the process. We need to raise $2,000 for court and attorney fees.
