Brain surgery for my sister Kristen

For the last five plus years my sister has been very sick off and on and has spent most of her time in doctors offices, hospitals, seeing specialist, having test, etc. The rest of the time has been spent struggling through illness to find the strength and energy to take care of and spend time with her two boys, Calem (10) and Quentin (4). Over the last year her condition has become much worse and at times she can't even get out of bed for up to a week. She has seen dozens of specialist all who couldn't come up with a solid diagnosis or treatment until one neurologist found a tumor deep in her brain on the Pineal Gland. No doctor wanted to touch it because of the location deep in the brain. Due to Kristen's recent decline in health and exacerbation of symptoms we searched everywhere for a surgeon who would take on her case. We found a doctor at The Skull Base Institute in LA who is the only surgeon in the US who performs this type of surgery. We have had consultations with him and he's positive he can fully remove the tumor and relieve her symptoms. With this said, it's not cheap. My family was gifted with lots of love, but not a lot of money, so that's why I'm here swallowing my pride and asking for help. I plan on giving all Ive got to make sure she gets the chance to have the surgery and hopefully her life back but I don't have enough.
I don't want to go into too much detail about how debilitating her condition is but I'll say her life has basically been taken away and everyday is a battle with excruciating pain, seizures, and about a dozen other symptoms.
I have worked with the surgery center and the best case scenario as far as money goes is $33,800 upfront and the rest to be paid over twelve months. This is just the cost to get her the surgery, not including travel, lodging, continuing care, etc.
We are trying to get her in for surgery the last week of January so anything we can raise by then will help. Every dollar counts.
It's not easy to ask for help, but I literally have no other options.
