Magdalena High Meteorology Program

Small science enrichment group out of Magdalena, New Mexico needs funds to go on meteorology trip around the country to chase storms, study meteorology and other aspects of science along the way. The primary learning objectives of this trip are to: 1. Learn how to safely navigate around thunderstorms by learning storm structure and classifications 2. Using the scientific method to form and test a hypothesis (daily weather forecast) 3. Understanding meteorology and making a forecast based on real-time data 4. Learning geography of the Great Plains (states, cities, rivers, roads, geological features, etc.) 5.
